After breaking onto the Christian charts in 2015 with Housefires II's "Good Good Father," which topped the Christian songs chart a few months later when Chris Tomlin covered it, Housefires scored their first Billboard 200 appearance with Housefires III. The album offers more of the group's wistful, devotional rock captured during live worship sessions from members of Grace Midtown in Greater Atlanta, Georgia. A balance of acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and keyboards characterize most of the album, which has lead vocals on the majority of tracks by main songwriter and rising star Pat Barrett. ~ Marcy Donelson
