The fourth studio album from singer/songwriter Jason Gray, 2014's Love Will Have the Final Word, features more of the Christian singer/songwriter's melodic, passionate rock music. Produced by Jason Ingram (Chris Tomlin, Meredith Andrews) and Cason Cooley (Matt Redman, Mindy Gledhill), Love Will Have the Final Word finds Gray moving in a more mainstream, radio-friendly direction with pleasing results. Gray has always evinced an inspirational presence on record and here he applies this energy to a handful of songs that showcase his warm vocals and uplifting lyrics. Musically, the songs on Love Will Have the Final Word have an organic, somewhat acoustic vibe that fits nicely next to such contemporary secular acts as Lumineers and Mumford & Sons.
