Following Sounds of Revival by a year, Sounds of Revival, Pt. 2 returns worship leader William McDowell to his Bethany Church performance in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Guests included Mary Mary's Tina Campbell, Brian Courtney Wilson, and Travis Greene, who appears on "It Is So," an effervescent single with African and Caribbean influences. The song was released with digital B-side "In Your Presence," featuring Israel Houghton, also from the album.
